Motivational Minset Changes

Proactive Retirement workshops

Most pre-retirement training packages have not changed their format for many years. Their main focus is on the practicalities of living in retirement (pensions and benefits, housing options and financial planning). Whilst this is obviously useful information it does not always reflect what is uppermost in the minds of individuals who are retiring between the ages of 55 and 65.

this is an opportunity for you to offer something of real value to your long serving employees. It will benefit them in a very inspirational, yet practical way and may actually spark a new career or fulfilment of a life time dream.

These days, people are living longer and are healthier and fitter than ever.  Come retirement, they usually feel as though they still have 'something to give'.  They may want to start their own small business (or large business!), give something back to their community or support others who are in the same position as themselves.

We have two options for employers who would like to offer help to those due to retire or who are taking early retirement:

PREPARE FOR POSITIVE CHANGE

Five, half day workshops to be run over consecutive days or one half day a week for a period of five weeks. These will cover:

establishing a sense of purpose
goal setting and creating a future history
small steps towards a giant leap
motivation matters
entrepreneur, volunteer or life of leisure - you decide!

MAKE RETIREMENT WORK FOR YOU

(more specifically for those who would like to start a small business or Social Enterprise).

Two, full day workshops to be run over consecutive days or one day a week for two weeks or one day a month for two months. These will cover:

establishing a sense of purpose
personal mission statement
goal setting and creating a future history
business idea generation
how to win friends and influence people
be a success
