Motivational Mind-Set Workshops
From an employer's point of view, having paid staff on long term sickness leave puts a strain on budgets as well as the remaining workforce.
From the employee's point of view, they can start to feel increasingly isolated, lack motivation and find it difficult to re-approach a work situation at all, let alone consider going back to the same job.
We work, on behalf of employers, with groups of individuals who are on long term sickness leave. Essentially we want the best outcome for both parties. There are benefits for all:
positive impact on long term sickness payments
encourage employees to make the right decision for their future
motivated workforce
The workshops act as a catalyst for change. This could result in:
motivating an individual to decide to 'move on' from the organisation altogether
encouraging employees to return to work with renewed vigour
discussions with HR departments regarding different positions which may be more suitable within the organisation
Core Programme: POSITIVE FUTURES
Five, half day workshops to be run over consecutive days or one half day a week for a period of five weeks. These will cover:
taking responsibility for your life
establishing a sense of purpose
goal setting and creating a vision of the future
small steps towards a giant leap
motivation matters
establishing win-win situations
Additional Information
Depending on the individuals involved, the length of time on long term leave or specific issues, the programme can be tailored slightly. We can also incorporate the following within the programme:
alternative job opportunities (in conjunction with your HR department)
team building (with members of existing departmental staff)
mediation (independent or in-house)
stress at work audit
